This piece is a bright, vibrant orchid, falling apart, scattering in the wind. The delicate glass seed
beads are sewn onto a yellow fabric that is frayed and wounded. This piece speaks to the loss of biodiversity. Loss of flora and fauna that humans have yet to even see, much less study or appreciate.
