“Garden Witch” is part of a small few pieces of paintings where I have used images of myself to
create broken or unwhole statues. It is an investigation of my relationship with the idea of self
and self-image. The setting is a dream-like environment with elements of fantasy. It is an
attempt to reach a place where answers that keep escaping me, in reality, might be found.
